As Tails finished his story, he fell into Galaxina's arms, slowly crying. Galaxina was speechless. She looked at Tails' flower, and then at Tails. She then started to speak.
“I know you feel bad, but I think she may still be alive. We seedrians are extremely complex, and we have adapted to the many dangers the universe can offer us.
Tails calmed down a bit, and then looked at Galaxina.
“Yeah. I hope we can find her.”

Cosmo kept learning about the life pirates had. She was cleaning the floor when Hector arrived.
“I've got a feeling that we're gonna get some company soon, from fellow pirates” he said.
“More Pirates?”
“Aye. We like this particular time of year for plundering, ya know.”
Cosmo looked into the distance. She was thinking about something that had happened a few days ago...

Cosmo was cleaning the floor when one of the members of the crew slipped on the soapy water and fell on the floor.
“Oh my gosh! I'm sorry” Cosmo apologized quickly, fearing that this one might be as tough as the other pirates.
“It's okay. It happens a lot to me.”
Cosmo was surprised when she heard the voice, because she had thought that she was the only female on board. When she looked at the pirate who had just fallen, she was still surprised to see that it was a girl. As a matter of fact, it was purple swallow who's clothing didn't seem to suit the life of a pirate. It looked more like someone you would find in a skateboard race.
“Um... hello... I'm Cosmo. I... I thought that I was the only girl here...
“So did I, until a few days ago. The name's Wave.”
“That's a nice name. I... don't think you know much about me, do you?”
“Well, a bit. I heard that you were the biological sister of the Captain's adopted son, is that right?”
“Yes. It came as quite a shock when I found him... or more precisely, he found me.”
“Yeah? Well, a long time ago, I was a master airboarder.
“Airboarder?”
“I raced on special boards designed to fly close to the ground at high speeds. I was one of the best racers in the world, and my friends and I had our own airboarding team. We called it “The Babylon Rogues.”
“That's cool.”
“Yeah. I loved racing as fast as I could, doing tricks with my board, and winning prizes. Unfortunately, things weren't always that good. There were several boarding accidents around where I used to live, and the other members of my team weren't exactly what you would call “respectful.” They played pretty dirty sometimes. Eventually, Airboarding was banned, so we had to go find our own ways. Eventually, I found Hector while he was buying supplies, and he invited me to join.”
“Interesting story.”
“Yeah. What about you?”
“Well, my entire family, unless you count Jack, was eliminated by an evil army called...”
“I think I've heard of them. The Metarex, right?”
“Yes. Eventually I ended up on a planet I knew nothing about. I made a few friends there, and they helped me fight against the Metarex. I even fell in love with one of them. Sadly, I later had to sacrifice myself to save them, but I can't really remember what happened. From what I know, seeing that I survived, they might have been destroyed, so...”
Wave noticed that she looked sad, so she said a few things to cheer her up.
“Don't worry. You may not have died after all, but at least you were trying to save them, so, who knows? They might have made it.”
Cosmo sighed, and then smiled a bit.
“Yes, you're probably right.”
After that, they became pretty good friends.

“Cosmo, is everything all right?” asked Jack, snapping her out of her thoughts.
“Yes, just a bit lost in thought.”
“Well, we just found something, and we wanted to show you.”
Wave walked in front of her and opened some kind of hologram projector. It seemed to be some kind of map. In fact, it looked exactly like...
“A Treasure map?” asked Cosmo.
“Aye” said Jack.
“Where did you get it?”
“Well,” said Wave, “a robotic bounty hunter gave it to me in exchange for information regarding the location of some dude he was looking for.”
“Who?”
“I think the name was “Optimus Prime”. The bounty hunter had some interesting stuff with him, so I couldn't pass off an opportunity to get something, so I told him what I knew. And I ended up getting this map, which he told me leads to a huge amount of gold, silver, and very rare jewels.”
“Aye. I got one with me too” said Jack, and he handed over a large scroll. Cosmo opened it, and looked inside. It seemed quite old, but it was still relatively easy to read.
“Where did you get this one, Jack?”
“My mate Rad gave it to me the last time I saw him. Apparently, it leads to some place on a planet called “Vogsphere.” He said that it was the best place anyone could find to hide a treasure, because it's the last place anyone would want to go.”
“Why?” asked Cosmo.
“I don't know, but he says that the native fauna is so bloody stupid that you can't even measure their I.Q., and yet the dominant species somehow managed to develop space travel” explained Jack.
“Is that even possible?” asked Wave.
“I don't know. We'll have to find out eventually.”

The Purple Kitsune had arrived at the place where Cali's treasure map had indicated. Tails was wondering what they would find.
“Allrighty. Tails, you're going with me, Knuckles, Blaze, Cali, and Manic. Sonic, Shadow, Galaxina, Silver, Rouge, and Manic, you all stay here and guard the ship.
“WHAT?! I'm not leaving! I'm not gonna let anyone get his or her hands on the Master Emerald!”
“Allrighty... Um, Manic, you come with us so the red moron can stay with his big jewel.”
“WHY YOU LITTLE...”
“Calm down Knuckles. You don't wanna kill our captain, do ya?”
“Okay... maybe not.”
“Well then, that's settled. Let's go, mates” said Marine, and they set off to find the treasure.
